Easy Red Lobster Shrimp Scampi
This is a replica of the well-known Shrimp Scampi recipe from Red Lobster. It’s easy, tasty, and takes less than half an hour to prepare!
Ingredients:
One pound of big, peeled and deveined shrimp Four teaspoons of butter Two teaspoons of olive oil Four minced garlic cloves, Half a cup of dry white wine, or alternatively, chicken broth One-half teaspoon of optionally crushed red pepper flakes, One teaspoon of salt Half a teaspoon of black pepper One tablespoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice Half a cup of parsley, freshly chopped, One-sixth cup of optionally grated Parmesan cheese.
Directions:
1. Get the shrimp: ready by lightly seasoning them with salt and pepper after patting them dry with paper towels.
2. Cook the garlic: Heat 2 tablespoons of butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté the minced garlic for one to two minutes, or until it becomes aromatic. Keep it from browning.
3. Cook the shrimp: Arrange the shrimp in a single layer in the skillet. Cook on one side for 2 to 3 minutes, then turn and cook for another 1 to 2 minutes, or until they are pink and cooked through. After taking the shrimp out of the skillet, place them aside.
4. Create the sauce: By adding the chicken broth or white wine to the skillet and simmering it. Allow the liquid to slightly reduce by cooking it for two to three minutes. Add the lemon juice, red pepper flakes, and the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and stir.
5. Combine: Add the shrimp to the sauce after returning them to the skillet. Stir thoroughly after adding the chopped parsley.
6. Serve: If you’d like, top with Parmesan cheese. Serve hot over rice, pasta, or crusty bread. Sample your homemade shrimp scampi and let me know how it tastes. Thank you all for read my blog.
